On November 28, 2025, Henan ZongXiang Heavy Industry successfully completed the shipment of 200 metric tons of A55 crane rail to the Philippines. The order, valued at approximately USD 185,000, was loaded at Qingdao Port and is scheduled to arrive at Manila South Harbor by mid-December.

This batch consists of 12-meter standard-length A55 (QU70) crane rails produced according to Chinese national standard GB/T 3426-2016, with the following technical specifications:

· Material grade: U71Mn

· Height: 70 mm

· Base width: 120 mm

· Head width: 55 mm

· Web thickness: 24 mm

· Unit weight: 55.9 kg/m

· Chemical composition and mechanical properties fully compliant with international requirements

The Philippine client is a well-known steel structure engineering company in Cebu that is currently undertaking the expansion project of a large private container terminal. The A55 crane rail will be used for two new 45-ton rail-mounted gantry cranes (RMG) in the yard, mainly supporting container stacking operations in Zones C and D.

ZongXiang provided a full range of services for this order, including:

1. Raw material traceability report (Baosteel origin)

2. Mill test certificates (MTC) and third-party inspection report by SGS

3. Hot-dip galvanizing of fishplates and customized drilling (44 mm diameter holes at 150 mm + 850 mm spacing)

4. Special anti-corrosion coating suitable for coastal high-humidity environments

5. Pre-assembly of rail clips and rubber pads at the factory to reduce on-site installation time

This is the third cooperation between ZongXiang and the client in the past 18 months. Previous deliveries included QU80 rails for Manila North Port and P50 rails for Davao Port. The client particularly praised ZongXiang’s advantages in delivery speed and customization capabilities. The production cycle of this order was shortened from the conventional 45 days to 32 days, and all 336 pieces of rail successfully passed the client’s on-site quality verification upon delivery.
