Henan Province, China — In a new milestone for its international business, Henan ZongXiang Heavy Industry Import & Export Co., Ltd. has successfully completed the export of 10 sets of NQG-5III Rail Cutting Machines to Vietnam’s expanding rail infrastructure market. This shipment marks another strategic step in ZongXiang’s ongoing efforts to support railway construction, maintenance and modernization projects across Southeast Asia.

The NQG-5III Rail Cutting Machine is a robust internal-combustion powered tool widely used in railway maintenance and emergency track repair operations. Designed to cut standard rail profiles ranging from 43 kg/m to 75 kg/m quickly and efficiently, the NQG-5III delivers high-quality, precision cuts that meet industry standards for vertical and horizontal tolerance — critical for safe track installation and alignment.

Each machine features a Honda-powered gasoline engine, lightweight yet durable construction (around 39–40 kg), and an easy-to-operate design that makes it ideal for both routine maintenance crews and heavy maintenance teams working on busy railway corridors. The internal combustion design also ensures operators can deploy the equipment in the field without reliance on external power sources — a key advantage for remote job sites and emergency repairs.

According to ZongXiang’s export documents, the Vietnamese customer — a major rail contractor involved in national network upgrades — finalized the order in late 2025 following a series of technical consultations and product demonstrations. Logistics planning involved careful packing and loading of all 10 rail cutting machines into standardized export crates, compliant with international shipping requirements. The shipment departed from a major Chinese port in early January and is expected to arrive at Haiphong Port before the end of the month.

In a statement to the press, a spokesperson for ZongXiang’s Export Division emphasized the importance of this delivery: “Vietnam’s rail network is undergoing rapid expansion and modernization, with extensive projects aimed at improving connectivity between major urban centers. The NQG-5III units we export will play a critical role in enabling local teams to perform precise rail cutting tasks efficiently, improving both safety and productivity across maintenance operations.”

This delivery builds on ZongXiang’s broader engagement in Vietnam’s railway sector, which has included exports of rails, rail accessories, and track maintenance equipment over recent years. ZongXiang has steadily expanded its footprint in Southeast Asia, driven by growing infrastructure investment in both freight and passenger corridors. Vietnamese authorities are increasingly prioritizing rail as a sustainable transportation backbone, opening avenues for high-quality foreign suppliers like ZongXiang.

Industry analysts note that robust track maintenance equipment — such as the NQG-5III — is essential for ensuring uptime and reliability as rail systems evolve to handle higher speeds, heavier loads, and more complex service demands.

Beyond this shipment, ZongXiang has indicated plans to deepen cooperation with Vietnamese partners, including discussions about on-site training, after-sales support packages, and future machine deliveries tailored to specific project needs.
