S14 rail is a kind of German standard rail, head width 38mm, height 90mm, bottom width 70mm, waist thickness 9mm, material 55Q, length is generally 6-12m, and can also be customized according to your requirements. Recently, a customer from Malaysia purchased 20 tons of s14 rails from our company, and all of them have been packed and will be sent to the destination soon.

Rail installation requirements

1.     Rails should be stacked to avoid bending deformation, and slight bending deformation should be corrected to make its straightness meet the specification requirements.

2.     The steel base plate should be processed and manufactured according to the requirements.

3.     Before installing the steel backing plate, the loose concrete and laitance on the surface of the track groove should be chiseled off, and the floating ash should be cleared to remove the accumulated water.

4.     A 10mm connection seam is reserved at the joint of the steel backing plate, and the adjustment bolt is used for initial leveling. After welding the base of the pressure plate, make precise adjustments.

After the rail is positioned and fixed, the clamping plate should not be tightened within 3m of the rail weld, so that the rail can be lifted during welding, and the base of the clamping plate should be parallel to the axis of the rail.
